Ukpo, Anambra State – In a vibrant and heartwarming ceremony held at the Zonal Headquarters, Zone 13, today, officers of the Nigeria Police Force serving under the Zonal Command were celebrated and decorated to their new ranks amidst cheers and applause.
The event, chaired by the Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Godwin N. Aghaulor, psc(+), was marked by the decoration of newly promoted officers, with the AIG assisted by CP Nnaghe Obono Itam of the Anambra State Command, family members, and loved ones of the promotees.
Officers promoted and decorated during the event spanned ranks from Deputy Commissioners of Police (DCP) to Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSP), reflecting a significant milestone in their careers. Prominent names among the decorated included:

Addressing the newly decorated officers, AIG Godwin N. Aghaulor commended their dedication and urged them to embrace their new roles with renewed commitment to the critical task of securing the nation. On behalf of the promotees, DCP Paul Dung expressed gratitude to the AIG, Zone 13, and the Inspector-General of Police, Olukayode Adeolu Egbetokun, PhD, NPM, for recognizing their efforts. He assured the gathering of their unwavering commitment to serving the nation with diligence and honor.
