Renowned Afrobeat musician Seun Kuti has caused a stir on social media after making a bold claim that he has never done laundry in his life. The singer, who is the son of the late Afrobeat pioneer Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, shared his perspective during an appearance on the Zero Conditions podcast. Recounting his childhood experiences, Kuti explained that his father, Fela Kuti, treated him as his favorite child, despite any differing opinions from his siblings. The singer proudly boasted about never having had to do laundry throughout his life, attributing this privilege to his upbringing. He expressed gratitude for winning the “daddy lottery,” stating, “Fela Kuti is my favorite person in the world.
