Onitsha, Anambra State – August 3, 2025. In a landmark event that signals a new chapter in investigative journalism and public safety, Pechilly Investigative Media has officially launched its operational headquarters in Onitsha, Anambra State.

The unveiling ceremony, which took place at Ihoma Plaza, opposite Chiboy Park along Port Harcourt Road, Fegge, drew an influential crowd of security experts, media practitioners, community leaders, and dignitaries — all united in their endorsement of Pechilly’s bold mission.
Delivering a stirring keynote, Ambassador Karen James, Founder and CEO of Pechilly, described the media house as a mission-driven platform committed to fearlessly exposing the truth and safeguarding the public interest.

“At Pechilly, facts meet fearless reporting. Every story echoes with truth, balance, and authenticity,” she affirmed. “We are Nigeria’s trusted lens into the hidden depths of society — telling the stories others fear to touch, amplifying the voices that matter, and exposing the realities that shape our communities.”
Backed by strategic partnerships with national and international security organizations, Pechilly aims to bridge the gap between journalism and security advocacy. The launch was hailed by stakeholders as a timely innovation for a state and country grappling with corruption, misinformation, and insecurity.
One of the key partners, a security official representing the private firm Sasa, praised the partnership with Pechilly, stating:

“This groundbreaking initiative is timely. Our collaboration will leverage investigative journalism and advanced security strategies to deliver real-time insights and safety solutions for our people.”
Chairman of the occasion and MD of Sasa, Hon. Monday Nwokoye, commended the vision and execution behind Pechilly, describing it as “the best in reporting and journalism in the state”. He further encouraged everyone to support the brand, emphasizing its relevance and future in the fight against societal ills.
“Pechilly has set a new standard. We must all work with them to expose wrongdoing and promote a safer society,” he said.
The event was also a moment of gratitude, as Ambassador James acknowledged critical supporters of the journey, including Hon. Jideofor Okocha (a.k.a. Nwadibia Strike Force), for their enduring belief in truth, justice, and media integrity.

However, Hon Jideofor Okocha popularly known as Nwadibia Strike Force said that Pechilly stands on five founding pillars: truth, justice, equality, integrity, and deep investigation. Its mission is clear — to expose hidden corruption, amplify silenced voices, and champion meaningful reforms across Nigeria.
“This is more than a media house,” said Ambassador James. “It’s a movement. A mission. A message. We are here to end injustice in our communities — and we’re just getting started.”
As operations commence in full, Pechilly Investigative Media is poised to become a cornerstone of responsible journalism and a trusted force in Nigeria’s security and media landscape.
