In a heartfelt outburst, Nollywood actress Ola Daniels expressed her anger towards those who have allegedly blacklisted fellow actor Jnr Pope. Daniels, who recently joined the industry, acknowledged that she cannot confirm the veracity of these claims but is disturbed by the rumors. Speaking on her own experiences, she also contemplated the possibility of being blacklisted herself.
“I came into this industry a few years ago, and I cannot say if what I’m hearing about blacklisting is true or false,” Daniels stated. “Although by God’s grace, it may seem like I have been here for a long time, I want to make it clear to everyone that both those who have blacklisted JP and many others who may have done the same to me, if that’s the case – they will never live forever on this earth, regardless of their power and wealth, because everyone will die someday.”
With tears in her eyes, Daniels passionately hopes for an end to the wickedness she perceives within the industry. She earnestly calls upon God to bring justice to those whom she believes are partaking in such behavior, invoking the sentiment: “Let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end.”
While Daniels’ anger stems from allegations she has heard within the Nollywood community, it is important to note that these claims have not been verified. Nevertheless, her emotional outcry sheds light on the potential challenges actors face in a highly competitive industry, and the need to address issues of fairness and equality within the entertainment sector.
