The incident, which has sent shockwaves throughout the region, has prompted the Anambra State Police Command to issue a statement addressing the situation.
According to the police statement, thorough inquiries have been made within the state, including at Area Commands and Police Divisional Headquarters, and there is currently no official record of such an incident taking place. The police emphasized that the overall security situation in Anambra has remained relatively calm, with strategic positioning of police and other security agencies in various areas and proactive crime prevention patrols underway.
