Dr. Ibie’s work has combined the philosophical pursuit of truth with practical human advocacy, making her an influential voice in efforts to foster dialogue, understanding, and justice. As the CEO of ISK Production and ISK Consulting, Dr. Ibie continues to be a pioneer in advocacy, media, and community building, with operations spanning Canada and Nigeria.
Her leadership extends far beyond academia. She is the Founder of the Nigerian Canadian Resettlement Center and the Women Supporting Women in Politics Network. With numerous awards under her belt, including Best Africa Female Filmmaker at the 2023 Toronto International Nollywood Film Festival and the President’s Volunteer Service Award, Dr. Ibie’s contributions to film, advocacy, and humanitarian efforts have earned her international acclaim.
