Led by Deputy Commissioner of Police Sylvester Adeji, the Zonal Operations Department is committed to upholding the constitutional rights of Nigerian citizens to peaceful assembly. Their goal is to supervise the protests and prevent any form of harassment, intimidation, or chaos that may arise.
SP Iheoma Josephine K., the Zonal Police Public Relations Officer (ZPPRO), has conveyed this information to the media.
