The Transition Committee Chairman of Ekwusigo local government area, Mr. Chimezie Obi, has embarked on a mission to spread the message of the Private Public Community Partnership (PPCP) Initiative of Governor Chukwuma Soludo to the people of Ekwusigo living in various parts of the country.
Mr. Obi recently took the campaign to Ekwusigo residents in Abuja, Lagos, and Port Harcourt, emphasizing the significance of the PPCP Initiative in fostering rapid development in Anambra State. He called on the people to embrace and contribute to this innovative approach.
During his visits, Mr. Obi highlighted Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s commendable efforts in Anambra State, especially in the area of road infrastructure. The governor has constructed over four hundred kilometers of roads across the state, enhancing mobility and boosting businesses.
As the Transition Committee Chairman of Ekwusigo, Mr. Obi has received recognition for his commitment to improving security and alleviating poverty in the area. He recently received the Roots Watch Distinguished Local Government Chairman Merit Award 2024 in Abuja. He affirmed his dedication to implementing all programs and policies of the Soludo administration in Ekwusigo, ensuring the active participation of the local community in government initiatives.
Mr. Obi commended those who have already embraced the development initiative of Governor Soludo and urged others to follow suit. He emphasized the importance of collective responsibility in the development of Anambra State.
Lady Juliet Anaeme, a philanthropist from Ozubulu, expressed her gratitude to Mr. Chimezie Obi for his transformative efforts in Ekwusigo. She assured him of their unwavering support in line with Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s vision.
Accompanying Mr. Obi on these visits were members of the Transition Committee and other critical stakeholders in the local government area.
The campaign spearheaded by Mr. Chimezie Obi aims to create awareness and encourage active participation in the PPCP Initiative of Governor Chukwuma Soludo. By spreading this message to Ekwusigo residents in different parts of the country, the local government area is making significant strides towards the rapid development and progress of Anambra State.
