In a remarkable display of talent and knowledge, students from Divine Rays British School in Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State have emerged as the top performers in the recently concluded 2024 National Mathematics Competition, held across designated states in the country.
The annual competition, organized by Catalyst Consulting, covers all classes in the primary and secondary school levels and is divided into four categories: lower primary, upper primary, junior secondary, and senior secondary. It aims to test the ability and knowledge of pupils in Mathematics while providing them with a platform to excel in the subject.
Represented by their dedicated pupils in the primary section, Okonkwo Chiziterem, Ezievuo Kosiso S., Nwabueze Chikamso S., Okoye Emmanuella C., Okonkwo Amarachi J., and Uche Chiemerie Victoria, Divine Rays British School proudly clinched six Gold medals at the annual tournament.
The Headmistress of the school, Mrs. Ifeoma Ucheama, expressed her elation and attributed the achievement to the dedication and hard work of both the learners and the school’s coaching staff. She extended heartfelt gratitude to the organizers of the National Mathematics Tournament for providing such a platform for academic excellence.
Ucheama also recognized the dynamic coaches who tirelessly guided and mentored the learners towards success. She conveyed sincere appreciation to parents, guardians, and well-wishers for their unwavering support and encouragement.
