At a press briefing today, the Command highlighted its efforts, emphasizing its commitment to restoring law and order and safeguarding lives and property across the state.
The Commissioner of Police disclosed that over 300 suspects were arrested for various offences, including armed robbery, kidnapping, cultism, child trafficking, and attacks on security personnel and infrastructure. Of these, 30 convictions were secured, with other cases still undergoing trial.

Notable Operations
Some standout operations include:

Murder Investigation
The Command also uncovered a tragic murder case involving two suspects who beat their brother, Chibuzor Okeke, to death over allegations of burglary and later buried him in a shallow grave. Both suspects have been arrested.
Community Policing and Advocacy
To consolidate its efforts, the Command has embraced community policing initiatives, including security advocacy visits and the formation of local committees. The launch of “Operation Udo Ga Chi” underscores the police’s renewed determination to collaborate with stakeholders in combating crime.
Gratitude to Partners
The Command expressed appreciation to the Inspector-General of Police, the Governor of Anambra State, and security agencies, as well as civil society groups and residents, for their unwavering support.
As Anambra State enters 2025, the police pledge to build on these successes, ensuring safety and peace for all.
