The Anambra State Police Command is in deep sorrow over the tragic demise of CSP Haruna Mohammed, a well-respected and admired figure who previously served as the Police Public Relations Officer (P.R.O) of the Command. CSP Haruna Mohammed held this position from May 2018 until March 2021, when he gracefully handed over the reins to SP Ikenga Tochukwu, who is presently the Command’s Spokesperson.
The news of CSP Mohammed’s passing has sent shockwaves through numerous groups and individuals who had the privilege of knowing him. CSP Mohammed was known as a cheerful and amiable person, and he dutifully served the force in various capacities across different parts of Anambra State. He had recently been appointed as the second-in-command at the State Intelligent Department (SID) of Gombe State Police Command.
Expressing their heartfelt condolences, the Anambra State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu, described CSP Mohammed’s death as an irreparable loss not only to the Anambra State Police Command but to the entire Nigeria Police Force. The Command extends its sympathies to the family members of the deceased and his loved ones during this difficult time. Additionally, the Command offers prayers for the repose of CSP Mohammed’s soul, hoping that he may find eternal peace. They also pray for strength and solace for those who are grieving this immense loss.
CSP Haruna Mohammed leaves behind a legacy of dedication and service to the police force. His cheerful demeanor and commitment to duty have left an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to have worked alongside him. The Anambra State Police Command, as well as the wider law enforcement community, will deeply mourn his passing.
