Anambra State, November 17, 2024 – The much-awaited results of the 2024 Best Enforcement Agency competition have been unveiled, marking a milestone in recognizing excellence and dedication among law enforcement agencies. The announcement, made by Pechilly Investigative Limited and World Peace Advocate, highlighted the crucial role enforcement agencies play in maintaining peace, safety, and order in the state.
This year’s competition witnessed an unprecedented level of public engagement, with thousands of online votes and individual submissions pouring in from citizens eager to show their appreciation.
Emerging as the Best Enforcement Agency of 2024, the Special Anti-Touting Squad Agency was lauded for its unwavering commitment to eradicating illegal touting practices, fostering a safer and more organized environment. Their innovative approach and impact have set a new benchmark in law enforcement excellence.
The final rankings of the top eight agencies were as follows:
1.Special Anti-Touting Squad Agency – For exceptional efforts in reducing illegal touting and fostering public safety.
2.OCHA Brigade – The take care of healthy environment
3.Anambra Vigilante Group (AVG) – For proactive measures and community engagement to reduce violence.
4.Military – For their vital role in national security and disaster response.
5.Department of State Services (DSS) – For their intelligence-gathering expertise and contributions to national safety.
6. UBETH- Revenue collectors
7.Police – For their steadfast commitment to crime prevention and public safety.
8.Anambra Road Traffic Management Agency (ARTMA) – They are responsible for road traffic and management of the road.
Ambassador Karen Chinyere James, the event supervisor, praised the dedication and achievements of all the agencies, stating, “We are thrilled to recognize these agencies for their stellar work and dedication to keeping our communities safe. The overwhelming public participation attests to the importance of these enforcement bodies in ensuring a safe and harmonious society.”
