Fegge, Onitsha on May 4, 2025. As Jubilation swept through Anambra State today as Chief Barrister Sly Ezeokenwa (Ifesimba), the National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), held a grand thanksgiving mass at St. Jude Catholic Church, Fegge. The event marked a triumphant moment following the Supreme Court’s decisive ruling that confirmed Ezeokenwa as the authentic National Chairman of APGA—a victory over what he described as “forces of darkness” that attempted to smear his mandate.

The atmosphere at the church was nothing short of electric. The congregation overflowed into the church compound, where thousands of jubilant supporters sang, danced, waved APGA flags, and lifted their voices in praise. Drummers, cultural troupes, and choirs added to the spectacle, transforming the solemn thanksgiving into a festival of gratitude and unity.

Addressing the crowd, Ezeokenwa, described by supporters as “the Lion of Justice,” expressed profound thanks to God, standing humbly before the people and reaffirming his commitment to justice, unity, and the continued progress of APGA.
Just moments after the thanksgiving service concluded, celebrations shifted to Godwin Achebe Stadium along Ziks Avenue, where a massive rally was held in honor of Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo CFR, Executive Governor of Anambra State and National Leader of APGA.

The rally attracted thousands—youths, women’s groups, market leaders, cultural dancers, and party loyalists—all pouring into the stadium chanting “Solution!” and praising Governor Soludo for what many called an unprecedented transformation of Anambra State in just three years.

The crowd hailed Soludo’s strides in infrastructure, healthcare, education, and urban development, calling the rally not just a celebration, but a clear endorsement of his leadership and a call for his return for a second term.

From the sacred grounds of St. Jude’s Church to the vibrant arena of Godwin Achebe Stadium, one message resounded across Anambra: the people stand united, thankful, and proudly APGA.
