The Speaker of Anambra State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Somtochukwu Udeze, has praised Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s recent election as the Vice-Chairman of the Southern Governors’ Forum, stating that it is a deserving recognition of his exemplary governance and extensive experience in public administration.
In a congratulatory message on behalf of the State Legislature, Hon. Udeze emphasized that Governor Soludo’s introduction of pioneering initiatives in governance, particularly in the areas of development, sustainable economic growth, and inclusive governance, played a significant role in his election as Vice-Chairman.
The Speaker highlighted Governor Soludo’s continuous contributions to the Nigeria Governors’ Forum, asserting that his economic expertise and accomplishments as the Governor of Anambra State over the past two years made him an ideal candidate for the role. He expressed confidence that the Southern Governors’ Forum made the right decision in selecting him to harness his economic prowess for the effective advancement of the region’s economy.
Furthermore, Hon. Udeze expressed optimism that Governor Soludo would continue to make Ndi Anambra proud by making substantial contributions to the growth and development of the Forum. He called upon his fellow governors to extend their wholehearted support to the newly elected Vice-Chairman.
