Anambra State House of Assembly Speaker, Rt.Hon.Somtochukwu Udeze, has expressed his admiration for the founding fathers of the state as well as past and present governors for their dedication to the peace, unity, and development of Anambra State. In a goodwill message to the government and people of the state, as the state celebrates its thirty-third anniversary, Rt.Hon.Udeze highlighted the challenging economic situation in the country and commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s administration for its remarkable progress across all sectors of the state’s economy.
Governor Soludo’s administration has achieved significant milestones in road infrastructure, healthcare delivery, employment opportunities, security architecture, youth empowerment, agricultural revolution, environmental and urban regeneration, and general welfare of the people of Anambra State. The Speaker called on wealthy citizens, especially those in the business sector, to collaborate with Governor Soludo to enhance the state’s industrial revolution in alignment with the governor’s “think home” philosophy. He also urged their contribution towards ensuring the security of the state.
On the occasion of the state’s thirty-third anniversary, Rt.Hon.Udeze extended his congratulations to the people of Anambra State. He particularly acknowledged individuals who have brought pride to the state through their achievements in politics, sports, arts, academia, business, and philanthropy. The Speaker assured that the state legislature, under his leadership, is committed to making meaningful contributions towards the overall development of Anambra State.
Rt.Hon.Udeze called on the people of Anambra State to pray for peace and progress and to also pray for the good health and strength of the founding fathers who are still alive. He expressed hope that they would continue to serve as a guiding light to the state and its citizens.
