The Assistant Inspector-General of Police (AIG) in charge of Zone 13, Ukpo, Abayomi Peter Oladipo, recently received the Anambra State Commissioner of Police (CP), Ikioye Orutugu, in a strategic meeting aimed at enhancing security measures across the state.
During the visit, CP Orutugu, who leads the Anambra State Police Command in Awka, briefed AIG Oladipo on the current security landscape in the state. The meeting provided a platform to exchange insights on ongoing security challenges and explore innovative strategies to bolster peace and safety in Anambra State.

In their discussions, both senior officers emphasized the need for proactive measures to curb crime, ensure public safety, and promote collaboration with community stakeholders.
AIG Abayomi commended CP Orutugu’s dedication and efforts in maintaining law and order in Anambra State. He further encouraged the CP to sustain his proactive initiatives and continue working closely with local communities to ensure the security of lives and property across the state.
The visit highlights the ongoing commitment of the Nigeria Police Force to improve security frameworks in Anambra and its neighboring regions.
