The General Overseer of Chapel of Faith Bible Assembly, 33 Onitsha, Bishop Emeka Michael Nwankpa, has shared a powerful testimony of divine healing after a scheduled heart surgery in India turned into a miraculous event.

Earlier this year, Bishop Nwankpa fell ill and, with the support of close friends and the church, traveled to India for medical check-ups and treatment. After undergoing a series of tests, doctors confirmed that he needed major heart surgery. The bishop admitted that, despite his faith, fear crept in as he prepared for the procedure.

“So many thoughts were swirling in my mind, but I kept praising God even in the midst of the pain, trusting Him for a successful and easy surgery,” he shared.
The night before the operation, he intensified his prayers and worship, seeking divine intervention. The next morning, as doctors performed a final round of tests before the scheduled surgery, something unexplainable happened.

“I noticed the shock on one doctor’s face as he kept repeating the tests. He soon asked his colleague to check again, and it turned out that the issue requiring surgery was completely gone! My heart was functioning perfectly, and the doctors couldn’t find any medical explanation for it,” Bishop Nwankpa testified.

His sudden and complete healing left the doctors astounded, confirming that his heart was now in perfect condition. Declaring his experience a testament to God’s miraculous power, the bishop encouraged believers to hold on to their faith, no matter the challenges they face.
“God still works miracles. No matter what challenges you’re facing today—whether it’s sickness, financial struggles, or personal battles—don’t lose hope. What seems impossible to man is always possible with God. Keep believing, keep praying, and keep trusting. Your testimony is next!” he declared.
His testimony has since sparked reactions within the Christian community, with many praising God’s intervention and drawing renewed faith from his experience.
