Obosi, Idemili North LGA — The Honorable Commissioner for Works, Hon. Ifeanyi Okoma, the Convener of the SGG, on Sunday hosted the Solution for Good Governance (SGG) in Obosi, Idemili North Local Government Area, where a massive gathering of ward coordinators and supporters mapped out strategies ahead of the forthcoming governorship election scheduled for November 8, 2025 — just 56 days away.

The strategic meeting drew in all 14 ward coordinators under SGG, each accompanied by over 2,000 loyal supporters, reaffirming their commitment to delivering sweeping victory for the incumbent governor, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo.

Speaking at the event, Hon. Okoma expressed confidence in mobilizing not only his ward but the entire 130 wards in Obosi, describing the coming election as a “4 + 4 equals 8 goal,” stressing that the South must be allowed to complete its rightful tenure.

Beyond politics, the Commissioner highlighted key developmental strides of the Soludo administration, particularly in education. He announced that the governor had embarked on constructing 21 modern, well-equipped public schools across Anambra, with Obosi as a major beneficiary. The new schools, he said, will be fitted with full learning facilities, including computers, ensuring free education for all residents of Anambra.

“As long as you live in Anambra, your education is assured. Everyone must go to school. There will be no excuse for lack of money,” Okoma declared, assuring that Obosi’s education system would become one of the best in the state.

He further disclosed that Governor Soludo recognized the size and importance of Obosi and had promised to support the community in pursuing the creation of a new local government council. A community delegation, he said, will soon be sent to the State House of Assembly to initiate legislative processes for establishing an Obosi Local Government Area.

Describing Soludo as “the messiah God has sent to Obosi,” Hon. Okoma charged coordinators and their followers to remain resolute in their mission to deliver the November election.

The meeting ended peacefully, with resounding commitment from SGG members to secure total victory for Governor Soludo.
