In a bold and history-making moment, Pechilly has finally officially unveiled its office in Onitsha today, marking a transformative step in the pursuit of truth-driven journalism and enhanced societal security.

The groundbreaking event, held at the organization’s new headquarters at Ihoma Plaza, opposite Chiboy Park along Port Harcourt Road, Fegge, brought together prominent dignitaries, security experts, media professionals, and community leaders, all united in their support for what many are calling a visionary force for justice and safety.
Delivering a compelling keynote address, the founder and CEO, Ambassador Karen James, described the launch as a mission-driven milestone dedicated to truth, integrity, and the protection of lives and livelihoods through investigative journalism.

“At Pechilly, facts meet fearless reporting. Every story echoes with truth, balance, and authenticity,” Ambassador James declared. “We are Nigeria’s trusted lens into the hidden depths of society—telling the stories others fear to touch, amplifying the voices that matter, and exposing the realities that shape our communities.”
In a strong show of support, a partner from the security industry described the launch as “a welcome development,” emphasizing the synergy between investigative journalism and public safety.
“This groundbreaking initiative is timely. Our partnership with Pechilly will leverage our collective expertise and cutting-edge technology to deliver innovative security solutions and real-time insights that keep our people, businesses, and communities safe,” the official stated.
He further expressed confidence in Pechilly’s role in shaping the future of security communication:
“We support this initiative because we believe it will shape the industry. As an organization, we are proud to partner with Pechilly to ensure the public is accurately informed about security issues and emerging threats.”
The atmosphere at the opening was charged with purpose and passion, as attendees praised Pechilly’s commitment to tackling corruption, injustice, and misinformation with bold, unbiased reporting. The event also featured tributes to those who made the milestone possible.
Ambassador James extended special appreciation to notable supporters, including High Chief Monday Nwokoye, MD of Sasa, and Hon. Jideofor Okocha (a.k.a. Nwadibia Strike Force), for their steadfast belief in the vision of truth and justice.
“To the men who stood firmly behind this journey, thank you. Your encouragement has strengthened the foundation of this noble cause,” she said.
Pechilly is founded on the values of truth, justice, equality, integrity, and deep investigation. Its agenda is simple yet revolutionary — to serve as an independent watchdog, expose wrongdoing, give voice to the silenced, and push for meaningful reforms at all levels of society.
As Pechilly officially begins operations, its mission is clear: to shine a light where others won’t, and to give the people the information they truly need.
“This is more than a media house,” said Ambassador James. “It’s a movement. A mission. A message. We are here to end injustice in our communities — and we’re just getting started.”
