In FCT, Abuja | April 29, 2025 a major nod to its commitment to public safety and service delivery, the Nigeria Police has been voted the Best Security Outfit in Anambra State during an open online competition that celebrated excellence among security and enforcement agencies in the state.
The public-driven voting event, organized by Pechilly Investigative Limited and led by Ambassador Karen James, a respected investigative journalist, saw widespread participation across digital platforms, offering citizens a chance to highlight and recognize agencies that have significantly contributed to the peace and order in Anambra.

The Nigeria Police clinched the top spot in the security category, earning the highest number of votes and public endorsement for its performance, visibility, and responsiveness within the state. In the enforcement category, the Ocha Brigade emerged as the Best Enforcement Agency, also taking first place.
Other winners in the closely contested event include the Nigeria Civil Defence Corps, which took the position of second runner-up in the security category, and the Special Anti-Touting Squad Agency, which claimed second runner-up in the enforcement category.

Ambassador Karen James, speaking on behalf of the organizers, praised the outstanding efforts of all participating agencies. “Every agency is doing commendable work, but those who won stood out for their exceptional performance. Congratulations to them all,” she said.
Pechilly Investigative Limited, the coordinating body behind the initiative, applauded the transparency of the process and the enthusiasm of public participants. “This exercise proves that public recognition is possible when agencies believe in themselves and stay committed to excellence,” the firm stated.
