Lays Foundation for Chapel at Zone 13 Headquarters
Ukpo-Dunukofia, March 1, 2025 – The 7th substantive Assistant Inspector-General (AIG) of Police, Zone 13 Command, Ukpo, AIG Godwin Ndidi Aghaulor psc (+), was honored today with a grand Pulling Out Parade and send-off ceremony at the Zone 13 Police Headquarters, Ukpo-Dunukofia, Anambra State. The event marked his retirement from the Nigeria Police Force after 35 years of distinguished service.
AIG Aghaulor, who hails from Agbor in Ika North LGA of Delta State, joined the Nigeria Police Force in 1990 as a cadet ASP (Course 16) and served in various capacities across the country. His last posting was as the AIG in charge of Zone 13, overseeing security operations within the command.

A Legacy of Service and Crime Reduction
Speaking at the event, the Chairman of the occasion commended AIG Aghaulor for his invaluable contributions to crime reduction, emphasizing the notable decline in criminal activities under his leadership in the states within the Zonal Command.
In one of his final official acts, AIG Aghaulor decorated five newly promoted senior officers who were recently elevated to the rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) by the Police Service Commission (PSC).
A Lasting Legacy – Laying the Foundation for a Chapel
As part of his farewell, AIG Aghaulor laid the foundation for a chapel at the Zonal Headquarters, a gesture that was widely praised as a testament to his commitment to the spiritual and moral well-being of officers within the command.

Celebrations and Tributes
The send-off ceremony was attended by dignitaries from various sectors, including representatives from the Police Officers Wives Association (POWA) and the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC). The groups described AIG Aghaulor as a seasoned and disciplined officer, expressing gratitude for his leadership and service.
The Nigeria Police Force and the Zonal Police Command of Zone 13 congratulated AIG Aghaulor on his successful career and wished him the best in his future endeavors.
