In a move to strengthen security operations across Anambra State, the Commissioner of Police, CP Ikioye Orutugu, fwc, mnips, PhD, has deployed newly passed-out police recruits to various divisions in the state.
The deployment is aimed at enhancing the command’s capacity to tackle security challenges and improve policing services. Addressing the officers, CP Orutugu charged them to exhibit courage, professionalism, and dedication in the discharge of their duties.
“Security is a collective responsibility, and as officers of the Nigeria Police Force, you must uphold integrity, fairness, and professionalism in serving and protecting the people,” he stated.
The Commissioner reassured residents of Anambra of the police command’s commitment to ensuring a safer environment through proactive security measures and strengthened community engagement.
The deployment aligns with the command’s ongoing strategy to improve law enforcement visibility, crime prevention, and rapid response across the state.
