Awka, February 11, 2025 – The Commissioner of Police, CP Ikioye Orutugu, fwc, mnips, PhD, has reiterated the need for stronger inter-agency collaboration to address security challenges in Anambra State.
During a courtesy visit to key security agencies, including the 302 Artillery Regiment (General Support) in Onitsha, the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), CP Orutugu emphasized the importance of intelligence sharing, seamless coordination, and resource integration.
“The fight against crime and insecurity requires a united front,” CP Orutugu stated. “By strengthening partnerships, we can enhance public safety and ensure more effective security operations across the state.”
The visit aligns with the Anambra State Police Command’s commitment to proactive policing strategies and sustained collaboration with sister agencies. The Commissioner assured that ongoing joint operations in critical areas would be intensified to maintain peace and security.
The Anambra Police Command urged all security agencies to work in synergy, reaffirming its dedication to making the state safer for residents and businesses.
