…Dedicates the award to the Speaker and the entire 8th assembly
The member representing Ekwusigo Constituency at the Anambra State House of Assembly, Hon. Ikenna Ofodeme has received ‘Best Outspoken Leader/Outstanding Man Of The Year 2024.
Pechilly Investigative reports that Hon. Ofodeme who is Majority Leader of the House was honoured by Pechilly Investigative Media award on Friday.
Presenting the award to the lawmaker,
Ambassador Karen James stated that Ofodeme emerged with fifteen thousand (15,000) votes online.
She emphasized the credibility of the voting process, underscoring the numerous nominations and the transparent system that led to Ofodeme win.
In his acceptance speech, Hon. Ikenna Ofodeme dedicated the award to the Anambra State 8th Assembly and to the Speaker Rt. Hon. Somtochukwu Udeze.
” We are working as a team in the 8th assembly and for the betterment of ndi Anambra through representing various constituencies.
” I acknowledge the leadership of the Speaker Rt. Hon. Somtochukwu Udeze who has united us all despite different political parties and having Anambra State as one agenda.
” Am delighted with this recognition. To whom much is given, much is expected. I feel encouraged and touched and i pray to God to give me the strength to perform better.
” Am grateful to the people of Ekwusigo Constituency for their believe and trust and the entire 8th assembly. I appreciate them for their support” Ofodeme said
