In a shocking display of political desperation, Mr. Chinedu Okadigbo has been caught in a web of deceit, fabricating stories to propel his already doomed ambition to become the Chairman of Awka North Local Government. In an attempt to garner financial support from influential individuals within Awka North, Okadigbo has resorted to name-dropping and concocting lies, hoping to secure backing for his political aspirations. One of his most audacious claims was that Prince Solomon Chukwuebuka, Director of the State Anti-Touting Squad (SASA), was supporting his Chairmanship bid under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
When this claim surfaced, it was met with laughter and disbelief from those familiar with Solomon Chukwuebuka’s unwavering loyalty to the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and his dedication to Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s vision for Anambra State. “The Solomon I know is a steadfast supporter of APGA and a fanatical follower of Governor Soludo,” said a source close to the matter. “The last thing he would do is align with someone like Okadigbo, whose political ambitions are built on lies and manipulation.”
As an ardent APGA loyalist, Prince Solomon Chukwuebuka has become the bane of opposition parties in his Awba Ofemili community. His commitment to APGA and Governor Soludo is unquestionable, and he has consistently worked to strengthen the party’s hold on Awka North. According to insiders, his dedication to APGA has made him a target for political opportunists like Okadigbo, who are willing to fabricate stories to further their selfish ambitions.
Okadigbo’s scheme quickly unravelled when he issued a public apology, confessing that he had engaged in name-dropping politics to gain financial favour. He admitted to falsely claiming Chukwuebuka’s support, knowing well that it crossed a red line. “He knew that associating Solomon Chukwuebuka with his ambitions was a step too far, and that’s why he apologised,” said one political analyst. “Okadigbo has no credibility, and his Chairmanship bid was dead on arrival.”
Further investigations by Pechilly Investigative Media revealed that Okadigbo’s antics were not only aimed at tarnishing Solomon Chukwuebuka’s reputation but were part of a larger strategy to exploit perceived internal crises within APGA. However, his efforts have fallen flat, as APGA members remain united, and Prince Solomon Chukwuebuka is determined to deliver victory for the party in the upcoming September 28th local government elections.
In conclusion, Chinedu Okadigbo’s political tactics have backfired spectacularly. His fabricated stories, driven by desperation for financial support, have only served to expose his hypocrisy and lack of integrity. APGA’s stronghold in Awka North remains unshaken, thanks to loyal and dedicated members like Prince Solomon Chukwuebuka, who stand firm against political opportunism and deceit.
