Apga executives, councillors, woman leaders, and faithful from Ekwusigo LGA, led by Apga Chairman Hon. Sir Emeka Ukora, TC Chairman Hon. Chimezie Obi, and Ward Chairman, extended a warm welcome to Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo CFR, the Governor of Anambra State, as he attended the burial mass of Mr. Emeka Okolo in Ozubulu. The somber occasion, held at the Sacred Hearts Parish, brought together bishops, priests, reverend brothers and sisters, as well as other clergymen from across the globe.
The burial mass, officiated by Papa Nucio, Bishop Jude Thaddeus Okolo, was a solemn event that paid tribute to the life of Mr. Emeka Okolo, a beloved member of the community from Ezenwelike, Eziora Ozubulu. This somber gathering was also graced by the presence of important personalities from the state, including the former Governor of Anambra State and presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Gregory Obi.
As the community came together to say their final farewell to Mr. Emeka Okolo, prayers were offered for the repose of his soul. The Apga executives, along with the dedicated councillors, women leaders, and faithful, highlighted their unity and support for Governor Soludo. Their presence at the burial mass symbolised their unwavering commitment to the ideals and vision of their party, as well as their endorsement of Governor Soludo’s leadership.
This gathering served as a testament to the strong bond within the Apga community in Ekwusigo LGA. The Apga Chairman, Hon. Sir Emeka Ukora, expressed gratitude for the Governor’s presence and conveyed the unwavering support and loyalty of the Apga executives and faithful. Hon. Chimezie Obi, the TC Chairman, echoed these sentiments, emphasising the importance of Governor Soludo’s leadership in the growth and development of Anambra State.
The presence of prominent figures, such as Mr. Peter Gregory Obi, added weight to the solemn occasion. Their attendance demonstrated the respect and admiration they hold for the Okolo family and their support for Governor Soludo’s administration.
As the burial mass came to a close, prayers and well wishes were extended to the family of Mr. Emeka Okolo. The Apga executives, councillors, women leaders, and faithful, along with Governor Soludo, reaffirmed their commitment to serving the people and advancing the welfare of the community.
