The Command has noted the unprofessionalism displayed by certain media personnel who publish stories without consulting the relevant authorities.
The report in question has caused great concern among the residents of Anambra, as it highlights the disappearance of 19 rifles from the community. However, the Command has revealed that no such case was reported to any security agency or relevant authority, raising doubts about the authenticity of the report. Consequently, the Police Command views this as an attempt to create tension within the state and fuel a rift between different groups, while pursuing ulterior motives.
The Command has assured the public that a thorough investigation into the matter will be conducted. It is essential to determine the credibility of the report and ascertain if there is any truth behind the alleged missing rifles.
