The operatives recovered a locally made pistol and a tricycle from the suspects, who have now been identified as Chigozie Echiebu of Urum Village, Awka LGA, and Edwine Emmanuel of Nkerefi Village in Nkanu East, Enugu State, both 25 years of age.
These armed men were swiftly apprehended and are currently in police custody. In a commendable move, the suspects have provided the police with crucial information regarding their mode of operations and the names of other gang members. This valuable information is already aiding the ongoing investigation.
