Muluwork Ambaw, a woman residing in Jimma, Ethiopia, has left many puzzled as she asserts that she has refrained from consuming food, water, and even using the bathroom for the past 16 years. Surprisingly, doctors have confirmed her to be in good health, adding to the mystery surrounding her extraordinary claim.
According to Muluwork, her last meal was a lentil stew at the age of 10. She now stands at 26 years old and maintains that she hasn’t felt the need or desire to eat or drink anything since then. Even though she enjoys cooking for her family, she personally does not experience hunger.

Despite undergoing tests by medical professionals in India, Qatar, and Dubai, none have been able to explain this perplexing phenomenon. Seeking answers, Drew Binsky, a Guinness World Record holder and UK-based YouTuber, visited Muluwork to learn more about her incredible feat of survival without sustenance for such an extended period.
Muluwork shared, “I used to live with my family, and they asked me to eat breakfast and go to school. I said I had eaten, but I was pretending. I had lost my appetite for water or for any food.” Despite her claims, the woman has displayed no signs of malnutrition or health issues, astonishing even the medical professionals who have examined her.

In her daily life, Muluwork finds solace in her garden, where she cultivates vegetables. She does this in case her sister or visitors come, as she still enjoys cooking fresh food for them. However, her own appetite remains absent.
While this extraordinary case challenges conventional understanding of human sustenance, and its medical explanation remains elusive, Muluwork’s ability to survive and maintain her health without consuming food and water for such a prolonged period brings forth both curiosity and intrigue.
