On the occasion of Workers’ Day, the Commissioner of Police, CP Aderemi Adeoye, in Anambra State, extended congratulations to workers in the state. The day, celebrated worldwide, is dedicated to honouring the dedication and commitment of workers.
CP Adeoye specifically appreciated the workers in Anambra State for their unwavering resolve in sustaining the message of peace and for standing against any illegal sit-at-home orders on Mondays and other acts that threaten national unity and public peace. The police commissioner recognized the important role that workers play in maintaining societal harmony and expressed gratitude for their efforts.
In his message, CP Adeoye urged both workers and residents to continue abiding by the law and to remain vigilant. He emphasised the importance of collaboration between the police, other security agencies, and the public in combating all forms of criminality and ensuring public security and safety in the state. The police commissioner called for continued partnership and support from workers and residents alike in order to maintain peace and stability in Anambra State.
